I’m sorry, but I giggle every time I see this. Baby Janie- 2 months and already skeptical. She wasn’t too keen on my fancy camera.

I’ll have you know, though, I did not make her cry. Not once. In fact, she went to sleep. Parents love me![]()

You’ve probably seen the adorable engagements. Meet Callie… the 1/2 to the awesome couple!
She is soft spoken, with an infectious smile and a huge, caring heart. She is so incredibly creative, inspiring, and an all around amazing woman. Sam is one lucky guy! Thankfully, he already knew that… and put a ring on it.
Callie, you are so stunning… but more importantly, your personality shines through! I can’t thank you enough for the opportunity to work with you and Sam.
You think of every detail.
Thank you. You made it extremely difficult to choose the blog photos!! Can’t wait to share the wedding pictures, this time with your other half. no comments ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() It’s here! Christmas is finally here… and I feel like I’m barely prepared, as usual. Time flies, but you already knew that. As I type this I’m in the most beautifully decorated home, my Mother-in-love http://roxannetheartist.blogspot.com/ with some pretty amazing people. Also insert cutest family http://bethandcompany.blogspot.com/ You can’t help but be in the Christmas spirit! There is a little ache in my heart, though, and maybe this post will console just an ounce, or at least reach out to the folks that know the feeling. You see, although I’m surrounded by people I love and they love me right back… this is the first Christmas without my parents and without my best friend, my brother (Toady).
My dad- the protector and the provider- is sacrificing his holiday with work. I can’t really feel sorry that they are stuck in miserable Southern California, but I am actually sad that ‘Christmas Vacation’ isn’t playing and we aren’t sitting on the same couch. Now my brother. His calling has brought him overseas. His service still has me puzzled, but if you knew this man you would understand how much he is willing to give of himself. He’d give his life for you… and I hope that he never has to. I am thankful that there are men and women with this heart of service. Too bad there wasn’t a pause button when they could all be home with family for the holidays. I just wish there was a moment I could stuff a white chocolate chip, macadamia nut cookie in his mouth and give him the biggest hug! God is leading him. Protecting him… and blessing all of us. This is the first time I truly feel that Christmas is of the heart. I’ll forever have the image of all of us together- Aunt and Grammy included- riding around in our big wheels. To those that can’t be home for Christmas- thank you. You are appreciated, live in our hearts and we will continue to pray for a quick, safe return. Merry Christmas everyone. Enjoy every annoying holiday movie, take in every festive light, every giggle, each cookie… and have a heart for Christmas. God bless!

Oh Jenny, this is such a sweet post. I can only imagine how tough it is to be away from your family (the one you have spent every holiday with for all your life) during this time of year. Just wanted you to know that our family just loves you and are so glad you are a part of it. Enjoy Christmas in Temple and I’ll see you on Monday!
